MEET CEG AT THE LARGEST LARGE SCALE FACILITY AND VENUE CONFERENCE!

3D Modeling of Fenway Park, Boston, MA

CEG will be exhibiting and presenting at the Convention Sports and Entertainment Facilities Conference in Tampa, Florida, June 14 and 15.

Discover how alternative project delivery is transforming entertainment and tourism infrastructure around the country. This year’s agenda has been designed to help large venues plan and procure project partners and CEG is prepared to showcase our broad array of services.
The conference agenda examines facility types and deal structures recently executed for new and expanded facilities. This year’s two-day program explores new trends and approaches to procurement, project delivery, finance, operations, and life-cycle efficiencies impacting facilities of all sizes.

As part of the Convention Sports and Entertainment Facilities Conference program, April Barkasi (CEG CEO) and Curt Hatfield (CEG COO) will present a specially prepared talk on leveraging digital twin technology specifically for the sports and entertainment industries.
“Digital Twin technology is the latest application of virtual site replication, which derives 3D Models from photographs, LIDAR (laser light scanning) data or a combination of both,” offers Barkasi. “The resulting real-time models provide an on-demand survey of complex conditions providing a platform for planning, operations and maintenance of any facility.”

CEG will provide case studies where the creation of a survey-level physical data model has provided a valuable visualization tool used for maximizing vendor opportunities, planning emergency service routes and egress, seat and viewshed maps, and light distribution.  The virtual model can be populated with facility infrastructure to create an integrated asset management tool for operations and maintenance.

“Aerial drone technology is an excellent way to leverage the benefits of 3D Modeling,” adds Hatfield. “Drone technology offers the benefit of being able to collect data quickly and efficiently.”

CEG’s presentation is scheduled for 3:45 on Tuesday, June 14 at JW Marriott’s HB Plant Salons C and D and will be exhibiting both days at Booth ___ in the conference hall.

Beyond digital twin technology, aerial drone piloting and site modeling, CEG has offered a cadre of expert support services to commercial industrial, educational and institutional as well as local, state and federal government clients for the last twelve years. Formerly Cedarville Engineering Group, CEG is a proven team of diverse engineering, environmental, construction, and geospatial experts professionally collaborating to deliver sustainable solutions to any infrastructure challenge.

“We’re excited to showcase all of CEG’s capabilities to the audience at the Convention Sports and Entertainment Facilities trade show,” says Barkasi. “We believe CEG is the perfect partner for large scale projects in this category being planned anywhere in the country.
